This Privacy Policy explains how YYY Encoder handles information when you use the YYY Encoder mobile application for iPhone and iPad.
Summary
YYY Encoder is designed to convert video files on your device. The app does not require an account, and Bokkiyaw does not operate an app server that receives your source videos or converted videos.
The app may use Apple system services, Google Mobile Ads, Google User Messaging Platform, and Apple purchase or device services as described below.
Information We Process
Videos and Files
YYY Encoder lets you select videos from Files or Photos and convert them on your device. Your source videos and converted videos are processed locally on your iPhone or iPad. We do not intentionally collect, upload, sell, or share your video files through Bokkiyaw-operated servers.
If you choose to contact support, please do not send private media unless we specifically request it and provide an appropriate transfer method.
Photos and Files Access
The app may request access to selected videos so it can open, inspect, convert, and save output files. The app may also request permission to save converted videos to your Photos library as new assets.
Local App Data
YYY Encoder may store app data locally on your device, including settings, conversion state, pending save recovery information, purchase or Stars balance state, and diagnostic information needed to keep the app working. This data is used to operate app features and recover work if the app is interrupted.
Advertising and Consent
YYY Encoder may display ads, including banner ads, rewarded ads, interstitial ads, and app open ads. The app uses Google Mobile Ads and Google User Messaging Platform to request consent where required, load ads, measure ad delivery, prevent fraud and abuse, and support advertising operations.
Google and its partners may process information such as device identifiers, advertising identifiers where available and permitted, IP address, approximate location, app activity related to ads, device information, and ad interaction data. Their processing is governed by their own policies and consent controls.

Purchases
If the app offers purchases, Apple processes App Store purchase transactions. We may receive non-sensitive transaction status information from Apple so the app can unlock purchased features or update your Stars balance. We do not receive your full payment card details.
Support Communications
If you email us for support, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, device model, iOS or iPadOS version, app version, screenshots, error messages, and your description of the issue. We use this information to respond to your request and improve the app.
How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide video import, inspection, conversion, saving, and recovery features
- Show and manage ads and consent prompts
- Process purchase status and restore access where applicable
- Respond to support requests
- Diagnose crashes, errors, or app behavior when users voluntarily provide details
- Maintain app safety, reliability, and compliance
Sharing of Information
We do not sell your source videos or converted videos.
We may share or allow processing of limited information with service providers and platform providers that help operate the app, including:
- Apple, for iOS, Photos, Files, App Store purchases, and device services
- Google Mobile Ads and Google User Messaging Platform, for advertising, consent, measurement, and fraud prevention
- Email and support tools, if you contact us directly
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or security of users, Bokkiyaw, or others.
Data Retention
Videos and converted output files remain under your control on your device or in locations you choose, such as Files or Photos. Local app data remains on your device unless you delete the app, clear the relevant data, or the operating system removes it. Support emails may be retained as long as reasonably necessary to handle your request, maintain records, and comply with legal obligations.
Your Choices
You can:
- Choose which videos to open or save
- Decline Photos access or change Photos permissions in iOS Settings
- Delete local app data by deleting the app from your device
- Adjust advertising and tracking choices in iOS Settings where available
- Use consent prompts where shown by the app or advertising partners
- Contact us to request support-related deletion or correction where applicable
Children's Privacy
YYY Encoder is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a support request, please contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
International Users
Your information may be processed in the country where you use the app and in other countries where Apple, Google, support providers, or Bokkiyaw service providers operate. These countries may have different data protection laws from your country.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and make the revised policy available through the app listing, support page, or another reasonable location.
